Software engineer who builds the whole stack — from the hypervisor to the markup.
I write languages, operating systems, AI agents and the occasional game world.

Quantum
Declarative web apps in XML, with AI and RAG built into the language. No build chain, no JavaScript, no front-end framework.
State, queries, forms, LLM calls and retrieval are all tags — the markup is the app. A love letter to ColdFusion and Adobe Flex, rebuilt for the LLM era.

Things I build
DruidOS
Rust
An AI-native Linux distribution. A TUI-first shell (grove), a local assistant that suggests, and a dashboard that asks before anything dangerous happens. Builds its own ISO, boots in KVM, installs onto ZFS.
Abathur
lab
An AI SRE agent that runs my homelab. Hourly health checks across the hypervisor, firewall, DNS and ~40 containers, self-healing with guardrails, and reports straight into Discord. "Evolution first. Perfection never."
player-one
research
A headless World of Warcraft client that plays like a person, not a rotation script. Perception, a world model and utility-based decisions — speaking the 3.3.5a protocol from Python.
Toca do Medivh
AzerothCore
A World of Warcraft private server I run for friends — with its own account portal, custom welcome kits, texture remasters and a population of AI-driven characters with memory and relationships.
OpenFlex Neo
Compiler
ActionScript 4 + MXML compiled to modern JavaScript. Classes, async/await, spread — the Flex mental model, reborn. The spiritual ancestor of Quantum.
Akilae Tribe
StarCraft II
StarCraft II bots built on ares-sc2, with CI benchmarks and ladder workflows, aimed at the AI Arena competitive ladder. Yes, the Protoss one.
The Last Titan
VR · Nexus Core
A cooperative asymmetric action RPG: one player is a giant in VR, the others fight as the Sworn from an isometric view. Built on Nexus Core, an engine-agnostic game systems platform.
Evergreen
Unreal 5
Recreating the atmosphere of a beloved Warcraft zone in a modern engine — moonlight, ancient trees and all.
Cazalberto
Python
"O bot camarada!" A Discord bot for friends that plays audio clips and runs silly commands. Every engineer needs one project that exists purely for joy.

The lab
Everything above runs on hardware I own. A Proxmox box hosts a firewall VM, a Docker forge, a game-server VM and whatever I'm breaking this week; a Mac mini is the agent's brain. Local LLMs do the cheap thinking, Claude does the hard thinking.

About
I'm Daniel Henrique Gregorio de Albuquerque, a software engineer from Recife. By day I keep production systems honest; by night I build the tools I wish existed.
I like software that is honest about what it does: a 1.0 whose stability table reflects what actually ran, an agent that asks before it deletes, a test suite that runs the way CI runs. I'd rather ship a small true thing than a large aspirational one.
Named most of my machines after StarCraft and Warcraft characters. Not sorry.
